Those Days

Hey, lovelies, how have you been? Long time no see. I am happy, hope you are happy too - that's the only thing in life that matters.

Being happy means being comfortable with your own self, and being comfortable with your own self means wearing whatever makes you happy. It means that you don't need to wear six inch heels to feel beautiful, and you don't need to show off your body to feel sexy. Style comes from your personality, you wear your clothes, not the other way round.

The older I get the more I feel my own stlye, and it makes me happy too. I go for practical, comfortable, simple yet peculiar pieces that suit my personality and my lifestyle. I took this photo on one of those rare days that I happen to wear heels. I love these Alexander-Wang-wannabe Mango sandals a lot, they are simply perfect.

Minimalism At Its Best

Constructivism had a great effect on modern art movements of the 20th century, influencing major trends, with major impacts upon architecture, graphic and industrial design, theatre, film, dance, fashion and to some extent music.

The 2013-14 A/W collection of NUBU, one of my favorite Hungarian designer brands was inspired by the work of Russian constructivist painter Kazimir Malevich. Going along the flat composing principle of the artist, this season NUBU put an emphasis on the pattern of the clothes made up of geometric shapes as well as their three-dimensional structure. The main print they used for the pieces is a modern, minimalist building designed by Magyar PLANT – Atelier Peter Kis.

I truly love NUBU - their pieces are contemporary art in a wearable, functional form, satisfying all my needs. I love wearing art, do you remember?

I hope to wear one of these amazingly beautiful dresses for my birthday party this weekend!

Dreaming Bright

I am cold. We have snowfall and -8 degrees Celsius. I was so happy about spring, but winter returned for 4 days, just before a long weekend. The thought of getting spring back in 4 short days keeps me warm. That, and my dreams of traveling. I am pretty much into the West Coast right now - and Vegas, baby! Well, I know some would consider Vegas "inland West", but whatever - I am into those bright lights, busy casinos and fancy restaurants.

I hope I can make it this year or the next. Oh, yes, dreaming as bright as the lights of Sin City. Are you?

Innocence

Sometimes I think it is dangerous and weird to be as full of love and happiness as I am. Then I think again, and I know it is going to stay with me forever. Isn't this amazing?

Springsick

I am so ready to say goodbye to February. This was one of the longest winters ever (or so I feel...) - we deserve some sunshine. I am happy to pack my winter coats, and do not want to see them again for a solid 8-9 months from now.

It wasn't warm at all on Friday, but I just didn't want to wear a heavy coat to a party I was heading to, so I wore multiple layers to brave the cold. My usual Instagram photo does not do justice to this amazing KataSzegedi dip back dress - it's my new favorite!

London Memories

I rarely write about my job here - I am not sure why; probably because this place is for my thoughts other than those related to work. I love my work - for me, it is an intrinsic source of pleasure and value. My background is corporate responsiblity; and with a few of my clients, I have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative and roboust strategies that bring about the change we do not even dream of.

Last year, we won a European Excellence Award for our work in domestic violence with AVON. Read about the story here. Yep, that is The Guardian, quoting me. Wow. I am so proud of the result we have achieved so far! There is still a lot to do, though - and we are not going to stop.

The EEA Gala was held at the legendary Camden Roundhouse in London. I attended the event with my wonderful colleagues - it was such an amazing experience! And London, oh, London! Every time I visit, I fall a little more in love with you.

It was not easy, but I managed to get a vegan breakfast at our hotel in Camden Town
