Makeup Monday

I spent my weekend in the countryside, in a lovely village in Bakony. I have been invited to a small conference to talk about environmental responsibility and sustainabilty. It turned out to be very family-like, with only a few but oh-so-gorgeous people. We had a lovely time! I realized how I had missed meeting new people for so long. I live my life basically between my office and my home, spending my free time trying to catch up with my family and friends, not having enough time to go out and make new acquaintances and strengthen social bonds.

How was your weekend, dolls? I missed you, too! Thank you so much for leaving those sweet comments on my last post. Your blogs are my inspiration.

Now on to the interesting stuff! Monsieur Lagerfeld always amazes me. The runway show for Chanel's Fall 2009 Couture Collection presented breathtaking makeups. They impressed me a lot as I have been totally obsessed with the black eyeliner for such a long time now. What do you think?

  17. That eyeliner is gorgeous! It's a bit too dramatic (but then again what isn't on the runway?) but I love the idea of it. If I ever did wear eyeliner like that, I wouldn't make it so dramatic though. Oh, and this reminded me that I need to go buy a tube of liquid eyeliner! Thank you :)

  20. don't tell me you are into environmental issues!! Love fashion...and love greening my life! I have been actually for the last week trying to find somebody knowledgeable enough to speak at my kids school!! Glad to hear you had a great time!!

    love black eyliner..stop doing it for a while now (not the right look with babies crawling and touching your face..) but now taht they are older mamite is getting her balck eyliner back on!! this post did it for me!! I am sharpening my black eyeliner now!

  22. Eyeliner is the only make-up I wear, but I don't do it as extravagantly during the day. I love the Chanel looks (and of course the clothes as well). I wouldn't mind wearing makeup this way, but it would be good to know how long it lasts without slipping off :)
