I love these amazing photos of silvered nudes from the Silvereye series by Guido Argentini. They are available now as limited edition prints for USD 9,500 each, which is unfortunately {a little bit} high of a price for my budget right now. The Limited Edition Silvereye Boxed Set includes a signed copy of the book and two titled, signed and numbered prints on archival c-paper. The book and the prints come in a handmade cloth covered box. This boxed set is a limited edition of only forty.

Makeup Monday

Oh, how I missed you girls! My weekends now tend to be so filled with cultural, social and other engagements that I am exhausted by the time I start work again on Monday. I feel that I need to spend every single minute of a weekend doing something other than sleeping or reading because the five days that follow seem so ominous from Saturday's vantage point. How was your weekend, dolls?

Now on to the interesting stuff! Lily Cole is one of my favorite models: she's not a classic beauty but there's something about her that is to die for. "The Glamour Issue" of British Vogue featured this editorial in December 2007. Glamorous!

Weekend already started here, girls! According to our traditions, August 20, 1000 was the day when, with the coronation of our first king, Stephen I of Hungary, the Kingdom of Hungary was established. And the best part? We have a four-day-weekend this week!

Me and my two bff's are going to see the traditional carnival of flowers in Debrecen tomorrow that is followed by some fireworks and a party on the streets. Then, we will spend Friday at Lake Balaton. On Saturday, I'll drive to Szombathely to visit my love's family and friends. We are going to throw a small birthday party for G's brother.

I'll be back on Sunday. I'll miss you, dolls. Oh, and what do you think of my new partner in crime? I have been lusting after a pair of chic flats for some time now, and I fell in love with these. I realized that while heels can add a dash of allure and confidence to one's look, heel-less outfits do not have to go without. Do you agree?

Greetings from Budapest

Lovely Dream Sequins had an awesome idea. Check it out here. I signed up for the project and now I have the two names and addresses. I am going hunting for some lovely postcards for them tomorrow. I am so excited to see the results! Isn't this an amazing thing to do? I love receiving handwritten letters and postcards. Do you?

I spent my weekend in the countryside, in a lovely village in Bakony. I have been invited to a small conference to talk about environmental responsibility and sustainabilty. It turned out to be very family-like, with only a few but oh-so-gorgeous people. We had a lovely time! I realized how I had missed meeting new people for so long. I live my life basically between my office and my home, spending my free time trying to catch up with my family and friends, not having enough time to go out and make new acquaintances and strengthen social bonds.

How was your weekend, dolls? I missed you, too! Thank you so much for leaving those sweet comments on my last post. Your blogs are my inspiration.

Now on to the interesting stuff! Monsieur Lagerfeld always amazes me. The runway show for Chanel's Fall 2009 Couture Collection presented breathtaking makeups. They impressed me a lot as I have been totally obsessed with the black eyeliner for such a long time now. What do you think?
