Oh, Carrie!

Oh, what a day! I attended a charity poker competition tonight and played together with a few of Hungary's most prominent businessmen and businesswomen. Well, I realized two things:

{1} poker is fun and

{2} money can not buy style.

However, we raised HUF 9.7 million for the foundation I volunteer for and that is fantastic. Yay! I was so happy to be part of the whole thing. It was fun, lots of fun. I had a day off work today (well, yesterday to be exact); relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful, sunny spring weather, then went to the party and had a lovely night. After the event, I had my very own Carrie Bradshaw moment when I was walking to my car in my beautiful silk dress and five inch heels, holding my clutch and thinking about things like the sense of life, relationships, happiness, wisdom and so on. The night was beautiful with light spring breeze and lots of stars in the sky above me. So romantic, isn't it? Well, it was romantic indeed, except for the fact that I was a little scared as I was totally alone and my shoes were not made for running. On my way home, I listened to Nirvana's unplugged album and I felt happy.

I am spending my weekend with a few of my best friends; I can't wait to see them! I have to drive two hours in the morning, so it is time for Cinderella to drift off to dreamland. Night night.
