The house of Martin Margiela (how awesome is that website?) never fails to amaze me. For S/S 2011 the models transformed into paper dolls and represented two-dimensionality. Surreal, isn't it? Surreal, but t-o-x-i-c and that is what we are looking for.

This collection blew my mind! I love how they take everyday pieces like a pair of trousers or a gown to a whole different level; making it into an art form. Love it!
ReplyDeletewow, kemény ez a kollekció! Tök jó ötlet ez a kétdimenziós megoldás.
ReplyDeleteSzép napot Susan!

ReplyDeleteI've always been a Margiela fan and I loved this collection. Very reminiscent of the earlier work when the man himself was still on board. The screen dress is my favorite, not that I could wear it, but thankfully the mainline collection is much more versatile ;-)
ReplyDeletewow, the concept is very interesting. I like the idea!
ReplyDeletezseniális, mint mindig!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing, isn't it?! Such a genius.
ReplyDeleteI definitely need more outfits that make me look like an ironing board ;-)

ReplyDeleteOooh love these. This is what fashion is all about, this element of fun and pushing boundaries...even if it means it's unwearable. Definitely an art form in my opinion.
ReplyDeletethis is a really interesting collection... not sure if I like the hair tho... reminds me of cousin it! haha.
