Teach Me How to Fly

Let It In

Oh summer, how I love thee! You, and summer clothes, shoes... and sunglasses of course! I truly love Tamara's designs, but I have a round face (*sigh*) and a big head (*sigh*), so wayfarer-type of sunnies do not work for me. I have always tought that Ray Bans were cool. You know, the bad-girl-type-of-cool. My heart ached every time I saw a cool girl wearing Ray Bans, especially wayfarers. And now... I found my type- yay for boyfriend sunglasses! I was so happy I won Nookie's giveaway- and I ordered these babies today from Shopbop. What do you think?

Barnoff Eyewear

I am sure you remember Tamara's beautiful, mysterious world. Her eyewear collection is rather simple, with clear cut frames and beautiful sketching. She takes orders from countries worldwide- for a limited time you can buy the frames and the sunglasses at introductory prices. For more information, send an e-mail to tamara@barnoff.com.

Beauty Scattered

As I looked out the window this morning, I immediately got the Monday blues. Heavy rain in May, thank you. Instead of my usual minimalism and monochrome love, this time I needed something colorful to cheer me up. Enikő is still my favorite model and this editorial in the May issue of Vogue Italia is full of surprises by makeup artist Diego Da Silva and hair stylist Fulvia Farolfi. This season is all about color, right?

For Him: JSB SS 2011

Je Suis Belle is a Hungarian designer brand founded by Dalma Dévényi and Tibi Kiss. For the designers, "Je Suis Belle" is a concept that defines the young women of our age, her sense of self, her state of being, her aesthetic. They design basic pieces that are playful, elegant, casual and of high quality at the same time. Their pieces are always stylish, well-cut and simple with little twists that I love.

These apply to their first collection for men, too. They created wearable, stlyish, fresh and variable looks that suit the lifestyle and demands of today's young men. And the bags... oh, the bags! What do you think?

For Her: k e p p SS 2011

I have always loved the simple yet amazing pieces designed by the talented girls at k e p p showroom. The minimalist ideas get surprising turns in terms of color, shape or the combination of seemingly jarring materials- and the end result? Perfect.
